Finatrade

THE Finatrade Group of Companies has rewarded hardworking employees of the company for their contribution and loyalty to the growth and success of the company.
The Corporate Affairs Director of the Company, Mr John Awuni, said at the awards ceremony that the company had been growing from strength to strength as a result of the tremendous contribution by the hardworking employees.
“This ceremony is to encourage the workers and motivate them to remain loyal, hardworking and committed to the group,” he stated
He noted that the company, which was established 10 years ago, started with about 15 people in one sub group and now had about 2,000 employees in 10 sub groups.
He advised them to remain focused and loyal to the company and encouraged them to equip themselves with skills that would be beneficial to its continuous growth.
The General Manager of the company, Mr Ahmad Halawi, urged the workers to recognise the ceremony as a motivating factor to improve upon their work, noting that the management of the company instituted the awards ceremony because of its faith in them.
The awards were in categories, including long service for employees who had worked for five to 10 years, the best worker awards for the departments and the overall best workers for the year ending 2007.
The recipients of the long-service awards received table-top refrigerators and GH¢300 each.
The overall best worker or employee of the year awards went to Henry Nakai Nettey and Augustus Asiedu. Each received a 21-inch television set and GH¢300.
